[Tacna, Peru] 엠빠나다로 아침식사하기, Breakfast Empanadas


 아침에 지나가다 배고프면 들르는 엠빠나다 집이다. 아침 9시정도에 문을 여는 것 같은데 일찍 가면 막 나온 엠빠나다가 참 맛있다. 늦게가면 데워주긴 하지만 아침에 막 만든 걸 먹는 것만큼 맛있진 않다.

 I often drop by this little empanada restaurant in the mornings. The restaurant opens at around 9 in the morning. If you go early, you can get fresh and delicious empanadas. If you go later, you can get them reheated but they're not as delicious as the fresh ones.

A menudo me voy a este pequeño restaurante de empanadas. El restaurante abre más o menos a las 9 de la mañana. Si vas temprano, puedes conseguir empanadas frescas y deliciosas. Si vas más tarde, puedes conseguir recalentados pero no son tan deliciosos como los frescos.

 
엠빠나다의 종류는 다양하지만, 나는 브로콜리와 치즈맛을 주로 먹는다. 다른 페루음식처럼 나한테는 조금 짜기도 하지만 그래도 맛있는 편이다. Queso (치즈)엠빠나다가 인기가 좋아서 제일 먼저 팔리는 것 같다. 치즈엠빠나다는 1솔이고 브로콜리는 2.5솔이다. 최근 환율이 1불에 3.20솔인데 1불이면 브로콜리와 치즈 엠빠나다 두개로 아침식사를 해결할 수 있다. 아. 여기 엠빠나다 말고 엠빠나다처럼 생긴 사과파이도 파는데 한개에 2.5솔이고 아주 맛있다. 하지만 아침에 일찍 가야만 살 수 있다.

There are various empanadas but I always get broccoli and cheese ones. They are little bit salty to me like other peruvian food but I love them. Looks like the cheese flavor is most popular because cheese empanadas are always the first to sell out. Cheese empanadas cost 1 nuevo sol and broccoli ones cost 2.5 nuevo soles. 1 U.S. dollar is about 3.20 nuevo soles (now in september, 2015). For 1 dollar you can get them both for breakfast. Other than  empanads, you can also have really nice apple pies which cost 2.5 nuevo soles. You can only get them if you go early because the owner only makes three or four apple pies a day and they get sold out very fast.

Hay varias empanadas pero siempre yo como el brócoli y el queso. Son un poco saladas para mí como otras comidas peruanas, pero me encantan. Parece que el sabor del queso es más popular porque las empanadas de queso siempre se agotan primero. Las empanadas de queso cuestan 1 nuevo sol y los de brócoli cuestan 2.5 nuevos soles. 1 dólar estadounidense es aproximadamente 3,20 nuevos soles (ahora en septiembre de 2015). Con 1 dólar puedes comprar las dos empanadas para un desayuno. Aparte de empanadas, también puedes tener muy buenos Pies de manzana que cuestan 2.5 nuevos soles. Sólo puedes conseguirlos si vas temprano porque la dueña sólo prepara tres o cuatro Pies de manzana al día y se agotan muy rápido.

아주 친절한 주인 아줌마다. 이 분이 엠빠나다와 애플파이를 직접 만드신다. 만날때마다 밝게 인사하는 아줌마를 보면 기분이 좋아진다. 

The owner of the restaurant is very kind and friendly. She makes empanadas and apple pies herself. She always greet people with her bright and cheerful smile and that makes me smile too.

La dueña del restaurante es muy amable y simpática. Ella misma prepara empanadas y Pies de manzana. Ella siempre saluda a la gente con su brillante y alegre sonrisa y eso me hace sonreír frecuentemente.

[Tacna, Peru] Muelle Sur 세비체 식당, Ceviche Restaurant

 Muelle Sur은 세비체 먹으러 가는 식당인데 센뜨로에서 떨어진 곳에 있고, 식당이 없을 것 같은 곳에 있어서 아는 사람만 찾아 가는 것 같다. 그래도 사람이 항상 많다. 주소는 Calle Los Alamos 1995. 11시부터 5시까지 문을 연다. 다른 세비체 식당처럼 점심장사만 한다.  Muelle Sur is a Ceviche restaurant. It's not located in central area but located in a place where you wouldn't think you can find a restaurant around. I don't know how people know and come to this restaurant but they always have many customers. Here's the address ; Calle Los Alamos 1995. They open at 11 in the morning and close at 5 in the afternoon. They only serve lunch like other ceviche restaurants. Muelle Sur es una Cevicheria. No está ubicada en el cercado de Tacna, pero está ubicada en el lugar menos esperado para encontrar un restaurante a la vuelta. No sé cómo la gente conocer y venir a este restaurante, y siempre tienen muchos clientes. Aquí está la dirección; Calle Los Alamos 1995.  Abren a las 11 de la mañana y cierran a las 5 de la tarde. [Ulleungdo, Korea] From Seoul to Ullengdo 서울에서 울릉도까지 De Seul a Ullengdo

There are around 4 cities where you can take ferry to go to Ullengdo from. We thought Gangneung is the nearest so we decided to go there to take the ferry. Hay alrededor de 4 ciudades desde donde puedes tomar un ferry para ir a Ulleungdo. Pensamos que Gangneung es el más cercano, así que decidimos ir allí para tomar el ferry. 서울 고속버스터미널에서 엄마를 만났다. 8시 버스를 타고 버스타고 강릉으로 출발. 8시 버스가 제일 저렴하고(14600원) 시간도 맞아서 타기로 했다. 버스를 타 보니 사람들이 많이 없었다. 중간에 휴게소에 20분 정도들렀다. I met my mom at Seoul Express Bus Terminal and we took a bus to Gangneung at 8pm. My mom told me 8pm one was the cheapest(14,600won) and the time was perfect for us. There were not many people on the bus. We stopped at a highway rest stop for 20 minutes. Encontre a mi madre en la terminal de autobuses de Seúl Express y tomamos un autobús a Gangneung a las 8 pm....

[Suwon, Korea] Yongsung chicken 용성통닭 Yongsung pollo

토요일 탱고수업이 끝나고 사람들과 통닭을 먹으러 갔다. 통닭거리에 있는 많은 곳을 가 봤지만 용성통닭은 처음이었다. 다른 사람들한테 맛있다고 이야기를 들은 터라 믿고 가보기로 했다. 지난번에는 이가게 앞집에 갔었는데 맛이 별로였다. 용성은 후회없는 선택이었다. I went to eat chicken with people after the tango class on Saturday. I have been to many places in the whole chicken street, but it was the first time that I had ever had a Yongsung chicken. We decided to go because I heard it was delicious from other people. Last time I went to the chicken place in front of this one, it didn't taste good. Yong-sung was a choice without regret. Fui a comer pollo con gente después de la clase de tango el sábado. He estado en muchos lugares en toda la calle de pollos, pero fue la primera vez que comí un pollo Yongsung. Decidimos ir porque escuché que era delicioso de otras personas. La última vez que fui al lugar de pollos frente a este, no sabía bien. Yong-sung fue una elección sin arrepentimiento. 사람이 엄청 많았고, 우리는 2층에 가서 먹었다. 사람들이 많으면 줄서서 먹기도 한다고 한다. 지난번에 나는 없었지만 탱고 사람들이 여기 왔었는데 자리가 없어서...
